OpenSpaces
A practical digital work-time and logbook tool for drivers. OpenSpaces is built to make daily logging fast, readable, and easy to correct when real-world work gets messy.
What It Does
- Records work events such as start work, breaks, vehicle changes, and end shift.
- Stores notes and locations so the logbook is more useful in the real world.
- Allows short-term corrections for honest mistakes, then locks older records.
- Keeps the daily record simple enough for drivers to use quickly on the job.
How It Works
- The dashboard tracks active work, break timing, and recent activity.
- The current workflow counts toward a break after 5.5 hours of work, with a 30-minute qualifying break.
- The wider logbook model treats work as a continuous sequence across rolling 24-hour workdays and longer work periods.
- Drivers currently have a 48-hour window to correct times, notes, and logbook removals.
- After that window, older events are locked from normal driver changes.
